1 WEEK TODAY!!!!

I can't believe it has been a week already. He's doing great!!! he sleeps most of the night waking around 3am and 6:30am. He has long time periods where he stays awake for a few hours at a time. He goes to the doctors for his week check-up cause his doctor does not go to memorial.

7lbs 8oz 19 1/2 in . He arrived into this world at 2pm. Here's a pic so everyone can see him. I'll have more later so keep checking back!!!

37 week check-up

Well I'm still 4 cm and he's still high up. the doc said he feels small and I have a bit more fluid then normal but nothing to worry about. I'm measuring 38 weeks. that could also be from the extra fluid. She told me things I can do to get him to drop down. she also said thats probably why I haven't went into labor yet. I should go fast once he does though so I have everyone on high alert for when he does decide to do his thing. I just hope its before tuesday next week so I'm not messing up Jareds Birthdaay. I would feel very bad if I wasn't there or had to change the day.

In labor but not ready to have him

well for all of you who don't know yet I went into the hospital last night and I'm 4cm and 70% effaced. He's too high up to cause any dilation and I have a bulging bag of water. they sent me home at 5am this morning. they said I could be back today or whenever. as soon as the water breaks I have to go right away. Keep your fingers crossed that he will be here soon. I was told by my mom to keep him in till she gets home Monday from Minnesota.

35 week appointment

Well I went in for my 35 week appt. I'm measuring 36 weeks, 1 cm dilated and 50% effaced. she said it could be anytime. He's not engaged in my pelvis yet though so we think as soon as he is then things could go quickly. We've been doing a lot of walking and raspberry leaf tea to move things along. The doc told me a few more things to try so I'll need to goto the health food store and get those items. If you have any tips on starting labor please share with me.

First pair of Glasses

Hailey just got her 1st pair of glasses today. so far so good!! She doesn't look 4 at all. My babies are growing fast!!

My 1st Garden

Well I planted a garden in May and its looking good. I planted cucumbers, lettuce, beans, watermelon, tomatoes and 1 pumpkin. My beans did ok. They are pretty much done. I picked 3 cucumbers and have 3 more almost ready with several little ones coming. I only had 1 leaf lettuce grow and it's doing good. I have several watermelon vines and 5 sprouting melons. 2 are pictured below with the others. I also have several tomato plants. My biggest tomato is the size of a baseball!!. Jared started a watermelon seed in school and now it is over 6 feet long with it's 1st pumpkin on it. there is a close up of it below. Next year we will be making a larger garden with more plants in it. I think I did pretty good for the 1st time ever growing one!!
