35 week appointment

Well I went in for my 35 week appt. I'm measuring 36 weeks, 1 cm dilated and 50% effaced. she said it could be anytime. He's not engaged in my pelvis yet though so we think as soon as he is then things could go quickly. We've been doing a lot of walking and raspberry leaf tea to move things along. The doc told me a few more things to try so I'll need to goto the health food store and get those items. If you have any tips on starting labor please share with me.

First pair of Glasses

Hailey just got her 1st pair of glasses today. so far so good!! She doesn't look 4 at all. My babies are growing fast!!

My 1st Garden

Well I planted a garden in May and its looking good. I planted cucumbers, lettuce, beans, watermelon, tomatoes and 1 pumpkin. My beans did ok. They are pretty much done. I picked 3 cucumbers and have 3 more almost ready with several little ones coming. I only had 1 leaf lettuce grow and it's doing good. I have several watermelon vines and 5 sprouting melons. 2 are pictured below with the others. I also have several tomato plants. My biggest tomato is the size of a baseball!!. Jared started a watermelon seed in school and now it is over 6 feet long with it's 1st pumpkin on it. there is a close up of it below. Next year we will be making a larger garden with more plants in it. I think I did pretty good for the 1st time ever growing one!!

Sunday at the Zoo

Today mom and I took the kids to the zoo. We had fun. We got to see pretty much all of the animals there. The Lions even put on a show of roaring and playing.

Early Labor

Well Saturday I went to the hospital in pain. I was contracting every 3 minutes with the contraction lasting 1 1/2 minutes long. I also was cramping really bad. (I will be 27 weeks on 7/10) I got hooked up to the monitors and they watched me for 30 min and sure enough I was starting early labor. They checked me and I dilated to 1 1/2 cm. They gave me a shot to stop the contractions. It did the trick and I was in and out in 2 hours. Sunday and today I just laid around the house taking it easy. I'm still crampy but my contractions are coming 2 every hour or so. I go back to the docs Thurs for my 27 week check up. I have to goto the docs every 2 weeks till 34 weeks then weekly there on. they have me starting earlier because of my past. Hopefully we can make it to at least 34 weeks which is 7 1/2 weeks away. they want me to try for 37 weeks which is 10 1/2 weeks away. Wish me luck!!

Haileys 4th B-day party at the house

Hailey had a nice party. She wanted this dog from Barbie named Tanner and it poops?! she was obsessed when she opened it. you can find it here
She also got a disney princess book that teaches you to spell. she got even more make-up too. Paw Paw got her some clothes and a new swim suit. Grandpa also got her a dora swim suit with floaties built into it. Jared picked alot of baby stuff for her dolls so she can be like mommy when Issac comes!! She had sooo much fun. Dads Family Reunion

This year we went to Ohio for the reunion because Grandma Stuart (in above pic) is 103 1/2 and can't live on her own anymore. She is what made this very large family. we had a total of over 115 people show up and that wasn't everyone!! She has over 33 Grandchildren, over 94 Great Grandchildren, and over 113 Great Great Grandchildren!!! Wow thats a lot, and their still coming!!! It was nice seeing alot of the people that live on the other side of the US. We had lots of fun. There were lots of games, food and prizes. We also have an auction every year and it keeps getting bigger!!. We all hope Grandma can make it to her 105 in less then 2 years!!
